Welcome! I am a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) and an Interior Designer dedicated to helping homeowners live safely, comfortably, and beautifully in the place they love most—their own home. I have a deep personal and professional commitment to creating homes that support lifelong living.

Fourteen years ago, my husband and I purchased a home with the clear intention of staying here forever, we bought a home with one clear goal in mind: to stay here forever. As a CAPS professional and designer, I knew what to look for —assisted living was never part of my plan. I searched for a home that would allow my husband and I to age in place comfortably, prioritizing features like a single-level ranch layout, an open floor plan, wide hallways, a spacious master bathroom, and minimal steps.  It turns out that vision is more than just personal—it’s universal. Aging in place is about independence, dignity, and staying in the space you love, safely and beautifully.

My journey began in education as a teacher, my background as a teacher and later as a designer gave me a unique perspective on how spaces should work for us, not against us, especially as we age. When I discovered the CAPS program, I realized this wasn’t just a personal mission—it was a professional calling and after raising my children, I returned to school to pursue my passion for design. Five years into my design career, I discovered the CAPS program and realized that designing for aging in place was not only possible—it was a growing need. Today, I’m proud to use my experience and training to help others create beautiful, functional homes where they can thrive for years to come—just like I have. I’ve designed my own forever home, and I’d be honored to help you do the same.
